2:00 pm Tax Wars (Hege Dehli, Norway, 2024)
A truly impressive denunciation of tax evasion by multinationals, against which eminent experts gathered in the "Independent Commission for the Tax Reform of International Companies" (ICRICT) promoted by several NGOs are fighting.

4:00 pm Everest Invanders (Jean-Michel Jorda, Spain-France, 2023)
Mass tourism has now reached even the highest peak in the world.
This will followed by a speech by Giovanni Galli, CAS Ticino: "What is happening in our Alps?"

6:00 pm Vai avanti
Short short film made by the young participants in the WWF atelier "in the shoes of a film-maker", in collaboration with RSI EDU and Locarno Kids and De l’assiette à l’océan (Julien Challandes, France, 2024). Fisheries, agriculture, freight transport: what are the impacts on ocean health? For the occasion, some young interesting realities that offer sustainable food introduce themselves: Triticum and Teste di Rapa. This will be followed by a tasting with the buffet set up in the atrium of the cinema.

8:45 pm Sois forte et tais-toi (Short film by Anne Loriot, 2 min)
and Bahnhof der Schmetterlinge (Martin Schilt and Daniel Balmer, Switzerland, 2023). The documentary manages to tell in all its complexity the conflict between the planned "Gateway Basel Nord", a container terminal considered indispensable for the transfer policy from road to rail, should be built on the protected green area rich in biodiversity that occupies the former marshalling yard of the Badischer Bahnhof in Basel. After the film debate "The dilemmas of projects for the future" with Serena Britos of Pro Natura, Nara Valsangiacomo of Pro Alps (initiative of the Alps) and Francesco Maggi of WWF.

8:30 pm Outgrow the system
Film winner of one of the Festival's awards, the Public Eye Award, with the following reasons "we believe that today it is particularly important to develop alternative models of economic development capable of replacing the deadly capitalism in which we live". The documentary presents several new and revolutionary economic models including: donut economy, degrowth, non-profit, participatory economy.

Following Tavola rotonda with Luca Crivelli, USI and SUPSI economist, Stefano Frisoli, director of Caritas Ticino and the young Savelli brothers of Circular Lugano. Moderated by Giovanni Pellegri, head of the Casa della sostenibilità.
