The small hamlet of Bigorio is perched on the slopes of the mountain of the same name and is an obligatory passage for the region's many walks and mountain bike trails.
A little further up the mountain is the Bigorio monastery, a unique spiritual and energetic place. It was the first Capuchin monastery in Switzerland and dates back to the 16th century.
In the village, amidst the narrow streets of the nucleus, do not miss the opportunity to stop for a refreshing stop at the typical trattoria, with a terrace offering an incredible view of Capriasca and the Lugano region.
