Monte Tamaro

Monte Tamaro, situated in the triangle between Lugano - Bellinzona - Locarno, together with the Monte Ceneri pass divides the Upper and Lower Ceneri.

This mountain is one of the most appreciated destinations in the region thanks to its ability to offer entertainment, natural beauty and sporting activities.

From Rivera, a convenient cable car takes you to Alpe Foppa, where there is a large restaurant near a small lake, the Santa Maria degli Angeli Church designed by the architect Mario Botta, the departure point for panoramic walks and mountain bike trails.

Monte Tamaro cable car

Monte Tamaro is one of the most popular places in the region, alpine thrills on the doorstep. At the middle station of the cable car you will find the Adventure Park with Tamaro Jumping, the reception point with snack bar and free WIFI.
