A way of approaching nature that permits one to observe its ecosystem and understand its evolution.
This is a way of approaching nature that permits one to observe its ecosystem and understand its evolution. Along the way down the mountain, one encounters typical species of natural woods and species that have been introduced and it’s possible to see how the landscape has evolved. A lumberjack’s museum and other buildings make this itinerary even more worthwhile.
Ideally, this walk departs from Mount Lema, one of the most extraordinary scenic peaks in Ticino, from which you can really take in an imposing view and which constitutes an important natural oasis. A modern cableway brings you to the top in ten minutes.
