Amedeo Minghi – Theatrical Tour - 40 years since 1950

Amedeo Minghi returned to the stage in summer 2023 after almost four years of absence and was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the public, and in spring 2024 he began his Theater Tour, which had great success and public following in all theaters where he performed.

Author and performer of authentic musical jewels for narrative intensity, with his melodies he has always commented and described love in its most changing declinations. Minghi performs many of the hits that have characterized his long career, masterpieces that have made him loved by the public: from "1950", one of the songs that best represents him, to "La vita mia"; from “L'immenso”, a song with which he also climbed the international charts to “Cantare è d'amore”, presented at the Sanremo Festival in 1996, up to “Vattene Amore”, perhaps the song best known to the general public, sung in paired with Mietta in Sanremo in 1990. Iconic songs that have left their mark in the history of Italian author music.

Minghi is accompanied on stage by his band composed of Luca Perroni on piano, Giandomenico Anellino on guitar, Alessandro Mazza on bass, Stefano Marazzi on drums, and by the voices of Rosy Messina and Giordano Spadafora, and a string group. A melodist from "birth" (as he likes to define himself), a timeless artist, Minghi is one of the pillars of Italian author music. Those who know his artistic career, halfway between different musical genres, know well that, for many years up to today, he has been a great innovator, experimenter, an artist with a vast and unique repertoire.

He participated 8 times in the Sanremo Festival, reaching the peak of success in 1990 with the famous "Vattene Amore" sung at the Festival paired with Mietta. He set to music sacred texts linked to the world of faith such as "The Canticle of the Creatures" and "The Beatitudes" and dedicated a song to Pope John Paul II entitled "A man who came from afar".

Contemporary artist projected into the future - composer, songwriter, arranger and producer - in over 50 years of activity Minghi has strung together success after success, written soundtracks for TV, for cinema, for the theatre, and for many of his colleagues he has composed numerous hits and created projects, always inspired by the love of music, the driving force of a whole life.
