L'ideatorio

'ideatorio of the Università della Svizzera italiana is a place where one can encounter science while having fun and experimenting.

The exhibition center in Cadro is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, offering interactive scientific exhibitions, an astronomical planetarium with four different projections, and a workshop proposing creative activities. Currently, there is the exhibition "Sole. Un'esposizione interattiva sulla nostra stella".

Each space is designed to stimulate the creative process, reflection, and collaboration among guests, not only through fixed offerings but also through activities, games, books, and a coffee and meeting space available to the public, where readings and performances are often presented.

L'ideatorio in Cadro offers activities suitable for adults and children, encouraging reflection, play, and discovery.

L'ideatorio also hosts cultural evenings, courses for adults, inclusive meetings, workshops, scientific vacations, and projects for schools, all guided by a single great protagonist: curiosity.

Accessibility Services

This cultural/tourist point of interest took part in the digital data mapping project on accessibility by Pro Infirmis. The project was carried out with the collaboration and support of Ticino Turismo, the four regional tourist organisations and the Department of Education, Culture and Sport.
